Burton Snowboards on Friday announced a slew of free activities for the entire family during the Burton US Open presented by MINI at Vail Mountain and slated for March 4-7.
The legendary annual event offers nonstop live action and a celebration of snowboarding both on and off the hill in the Town of Vail. Over four festive, jam-packed days, visitors will be treated to world-class riding, free concerts by huge musical acts, a Riglet Park for kids to try snowboarding, opportunities to meet the pros, all-day après specials, a Burton Girls Ride Day, a new Broomball tournament, product sampling, giveaways and more.

Burton Riglet Park & Learn To Ride Experience at Golden Peak
Wednesday & Thursday: 10:00am – 12:00pm & 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Friday & Saturday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
A special Burton Riglet Park will offer a Learn To Ride experience for kids 3 to 6 years old, complete with coaches and gear provided free of charge. This playground introduces the littlest riders to the foundations of snowboarding through play and guided discovery.

Each location will host US Open giveaways, contests, and food and drinks specials. New this year, don’t miss the US Open Broomball Tournament, an exciting community event featuring six teams who will battle it out on the ice. Spectators will be treated to some fun intermission activities and can step into a free, hockey themed photo booth for a memorable keepsake. Pacifico will be on hand for the 21 and over crowd.
