This European chalet-style restaurant offers a four-course prix-fixe menu, has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond Award, and was rated one of OpenTable’s top ten restaurants in Colorado.

During the winter, Game Creek Restaurant is accessible only by hiking or snowcat, but you can take a 4-wheel drive shuttle in the summer months

A traditional and unique menu

The menu includes mouth-watering dishes like bison tartare, a modern twist on the beef classic, featuring shallots, parmesan, herb vinaigrette and a quail egg.

There’s a range of soups and salads (including butternut, pear, beet or sweet potato) and a pasta dish with asparagus, sweet corn, creamy Madeira, prosciutto and pine nuts. Or you can sample the butternut lobster bisque, foie gras, duck, black cod, wild boar, Dover sole, or halibut with fava beans, summer hash, pancetta and lemon oil.

Vegetarians can enjoy a cauliflower steak with haricot verts, chive polenta, carrot, olive dust and almonds, and kids can choose from tomato soup and grilled cheese, barbecued chicken or pasta noodles.

Save room for dessert

And for dessert? Coconut panna cotta, donuts, strawberry shortcake, stracciatella with chocolate caramel and raspberry, or the chef’s selection of cheeses, honey and jam are just some of your options.

Alternatively, you can choose the five-course Chef’s Table menu — which takes the tough decision-making out of your dining experience. You simply sit back, relax and enjoy the delightful creations sent to your table.

Prices are on the high end, and match the quality of the cuisine. A dining credit card can help you explore your passion for fine dining. This provides special rewards like exclusive restaurant discounts, as well as airline and dining credit. You can therefore enjoy dining out often while getting the most bang for your buck.

Mouthwatering Sunday brunch

Sunday brunch at Game Creek Restaurant isn’t something you want to miss. Enjoy an all-you-can eat gourmet buffet, which includes fresh fruit smoothies, chilled seafood, a selection of meats, pastries and fresh bagels from Village Bagels in Edwards.

Also be sure to visit between 5:30 and 7 pm for après on the deck — light appetizers and cocktails are available against an alpenglow sky.

Whether you’re a meat-eater, vegetarian, or fussy child, you’re bound to find a dish you love at Game Creek. Just be sure to book a (required) reservation in advance.
