Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry to benefit Eagle County 4-H returns Saturday, March 15

Eagle County recently issued the following press release on the CSU Extension and Eagle County 4-H Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry on Saturday, March 15, at the Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds:

CSU Extension and Eagle County 4-H volunteers will host The Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry to benefit 4-H programs on Saturday, March 15, from 5 – 10:00 p.m. in the Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds. 

“The Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry has been supporting Eagle County 4-H programs for more than 30 years,” said Eagle County Commissioner Jeanne McQueeney. “In addition to raising over $410,000 for 4-H youth, it is a wonderful way to celebrate as a community and honor our western heritage.” 

In addition to Rocky Mountain Oysters, a delicious beef dinner will be served accompanied by a wonderful assortment of desserts and a cash bar. It is a fun family event with a petting zoo, bouncy castle, mechanical bull, shooting sports activity trailer, The Lost Junction band, live auction, and a huge silent auction.

El Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry regresa el sábado 15 de marzo

Los voluntarios de CSU Extension y 4-H del Condado de Eagle serán los anfitriones de The Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry en beneficio de los programas 4-H el sábado 15 de marzo de 5 a 10:00 p.m. en el Eagle River Center del recinto ferial del Condado de Eagle.

“The Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry ha estado apoyando los programas 4-H del Condado de Eagle durante más de 30 años”, dijo la comisionada del Condado de Eagle, Jeanne McQueeney. “Además de la recaudación de más de $410,000 para los jóvenes de 4-H, es una manera maravillosa de unirnos como comunidad y honrar nuestra herencia occidental”.

Además de las “ostras de las montañas rocosas”, se servirá una deliciosa cena de carne de res acompañada de una maravillosa variedad de postres y habrá bebidas a la venta. Es un evento familiar divertido con un zoológico de mascotas, un castillo inflable, un toro mecánico, un tráiler de actividades deportivas de tiro, la banda Lost Junction, una subasta en vivo y una subasta silenciosa.
